Description

This kit is designed primarily for re-chargeing heavy truck and bus air systems to enable safe recovery. It is intended for use with the normal electrical leads and air hoses carried on a recovery vehicle or service van. These can be supplied if required. The kit is also suitable for inflation of large truck tyres. The ultimate in 24v dc electric air compressor for demanding duty in extreme conditions is used, also available as 12v. The compressor and fan-cooled motor are rated for 100% duty cycle High flow rate, proven design and fully equipped for vehicle air system inflation in a smart and durable lockable carrying/stowage case with shoulder strap. The compressor’s output is a PCL connector connected to 3/8” diameter copper tube for heat disipation. A 9 bar safety valve and non-return valve are fitted. Electrical connection is by a 50A rated power connection plug and socket with a short adapter to a 175A connector The compressor is fitted with a heavy-duty foam air filter and up-rated seals for use in dusty conditions.
