Description
The HAPS Air Storage Compressor Unit is based on the Junior ExtremeAire compressor. This is coupled to a 16 litre fully tested air reservoir which is fitted with a 11 bar safety valve. Pressure is automatically controlled by a pressure switch. A cooling fan is incorporated to enable almost continuous operation, and a thermal cut-out is also fitted. The unit is free-standing, complete and ready to mount in a vehicle with 12v supply. The reservoir can be charged when the vehicle is in use. The HAPS can inflate tyres and power small air tools. It can be used for any job where instant 10 bar air pressure is required. Isolation via the vehicle ignition switch is provided. The HAPS is also available with separatley mounted reservoir, compressor and control module. This allows use of Senior 12v and 24v compressors
